Eric Butera Is Prepared to Lead Others

Many people value a person with leadership skills. That makes leadership one of the main skills people work to develop while others may find it comes naturally. Eric Butera, as a former U.S. soldier, received some of the world's best training to bring out his natural leadership skills. He understands there are many ways to demonstrate leadership.
Eric Butera's time in the United States Army began in 1999. It was in 2002, that he decided to develop his leadership skills through the army. While located in Washington, Eric Butera took the Primary Leadership Course conducted by the United States Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Fort Lewis. In June 2002, after the completion of all the courses, Eric Butera graduated the program and received his diploma.
While taking a leadership course is one way to demonstrate a willingness to lead others, it doesn't speak as loudly as actions. Through his years of service, Eric Butera took it upon himself to develop a number of additional skills. He continued his education with other courses including an Associate of Science degree from Salt Lake Community College.  Eric Butera also took a basic course in administration and for motor vehicle operation.
The administration course prepared Eric Butera for office work should it ever be a field he pursued. Right before his discharge from the army in 2007, Eric Butera earned his certificate for professional truck driving from Salt Lake Community College. Each of these skills built upon the skills already developed by Eric Butera throughout his military service.
Perhaps the greatest testament to Eric Butera's leadership skill is his volunteer work. While volunteering may not make everyone a leader, Eric Butera works hard to help disabled veterans at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He is a strong advocate for group therapy to develop veteran's self-worth and self-esteem. He works now to earn a degree for recreation with an emphasis on therapy.
